Wrist
Pain
Wrist
injuries can come from overuse, but more often result from hitting
the club against something hard like a tree root, rock, deep rough,
wet sand, or your golf cart. The tendons that go through the wrist
to the fingers can become inflamed in this way. Over use through
improper techniques will also aggravate these tendons. The wrists
should cock and uncock naturally in the golf swing. The difference
in the weight and speed between the arms and club is what makes
the wrist cock and uncock without effort on the part of the golfer.
This is part of learning to swing in a “Body Friendly”
way.
